Austin City Guide - Sway

A couple of weeks ago, a few of my friends and I decided we hadn't been adventuring around Austin enough so we decided to form a Wednesday Night Supper Club. We decided that as a group we'd meet every other week for dinner at a new spot in Austin we've been dying to try. We put together a quick list of places we wanted to try around Austin and got to working on our plan of action.

Our first adventure for the WNSC was to Sway, a really cute Thai food restaurant located on South First street in Austin. The food was great and the outdoor dining area was perfect for dinner with friends. Here are some gorgeous pictures from the first of (hopefully) many girls nights out in Austin!

The dishes are the perfect size for sharing so we ordered a few things and then passed them around to try them all. Pictured above are the po-pea jay (vegetable spring rolls) and the vegetable fried rice. I also tried the pad-thai jay which was absolutely delicious!

I'm not a foodie by any means, but I really enjoyed this restaurant. The atmosphere was perfect for outdoor dining and we all left with very full bellies. It was so much fun trying something new and even stepping out of our normal daily routines.

I already can't wait to see where we'll go next!

  1. What a fun dinner group idea! I want to do something like that!

  2. You should totally start-up your own WNSC! It's been so much fun.
