{Friday Five} Fall Reading List

I've been burying myself in books lately and I'm loving it. Something about the colder weather just makes me want to go inside, curl-up, and lose myself reading.

I just finished Memoirs of a Geisha and have been on a mission to read more "grown-up books" as opposed to my normal guilty pleasure crime novels.

Here are a few books on my fall reading list...

I just started reading this book and so far I'm loving it. It seems to have a sort of "Love Actually" vibe because there area multiple story lines going on at once that somehow all intertwine. I can't wait to see how this one goes! I'll check back in with a review once I've finished it.

I'm not really sure what this book is about yet, but it was picked for my office bookclub this month so I'm excited to give it a try! From reading the book jacket, I can tell it isn't the type of book I would've picked out on my own, but shouldn't life be about trying new things and opening our eyes to new perspectives? I can't wait to see how I like this one!

This book seems a little more "summer" than "fall," but since I missed it last season, I had to give it a spot on my Fall Reading List! It seems like a fun read and I've heard great things through friends and internet reviews alike!

I picked this book up as part of my summer reading list and never got around to it. I think it's so important to read classic novels in addition to whatever's current and popular. I'm looking forward to giving this book a shot and maybe even feeling like I'm back in a college English class.

Alright... I'm most excited about this book. Lena Dunham cracks me up and if her book is anything like the other funny girl authors I've read (Looking at you Tina and Mindy), this book is going to be amazing.

What books are on your Fall Reading List?

xxo, Kristen
