{Friday Five}

I ran across this at Target the other day and figured I'd give it a shot. I have nail polish galore, but my cuticle care is seriously slacking. I've been looking around for a bit, but haven't been to impressed or inspired to get anything. This looked cute, said "apricot" on it, and... I was in the mood to impulse buy (whoops), so I decided to give it a try!

I've only used it once and couldn't notice much of a difference, but I'm gonna give it a few more go's to see if I start to notice something. I'll keep you updated!

2. Trader Joe's Argan Oil Hand Lotion
As part of my quest to take better care of my nails/hands I've been on the hunt for some new hand lotion. This lotion came in a 3-pack for around $7 and I love it. It has the best smell and leaves my hands feeling soft and refreshed. I highly recommend the trio if you have a Trader Joe's in your area!

3. DIY Elastic Hair Ties

I'm sure you've seen these cute hair ties floating around, but if you're buying them retail, you're spending way more money than you have to. I started making my own in college once I realized how easy it was to do. An added bonus to making your own? You can pick your own colors instead of buying a pre-made pack! Here's a link to a quick DIY from SheKnows to help you if you want to make your own!

I'm loving Julia Hengel's look in one of her recent posts on Gal Meets Glam. The best news? Her sweater is from Old Navy and it's on sale for $8!!

5. Rebecca Minkoff "Mini MAC" Clutch
Speaking of Gal Meets Glam... I love this bright blue clutch and think the black version would be the perfect addition to my closet this fall.

Have a great weekend!
