{Saturday Six}

The first ever {Saturday Six}!

My friend Taylor and I decided to try out our local Dry Bar to get all gussied up for our Friday night festivities. As Taylor described it, "It's like a manicure for your hair. You could do it yourself, but it's always better when someone else does it." It's a salon that gives you a wash and blowout, which in my opinion are the two best parts of getting your hair cut. No cuts, no scissors, just a hair wash and your choice of style. It was a really fun place and I'm so glad I tried it out. Nothing like getting pampered to make you feel special! Pictures and a more detailed recap are coming soon!

I love this recipe. Behind olives and PB&J, it's probably my favorite food. The recipe is vegan, but I've shared it with vegetarians and meat lovers alike and it's always a hit. I don't know how Sarah from My New Roots came-up with this recipe, but she's an absolute genius. I urge you to try it out for yourself and promise you won't be disappointed! Taco Tuesday anyone?

During the fall and winter, I live in sweaters. I have quite a few in my collection already, but I think this one would be a great addition. I love how the leather detail toughens up the sweater and gives it a little bit of an edgier look. Definitely different from anything I already own! What do you think?

As a teacher, I'm on my feet a lot so sensible shoes are a must, but sensible doesn't have to mean boring. These shoes look comfortable, cute, and they're only $33. Isn't that a winning combination? I might already be making room in my closet for them...

I've been thinking about getting some new sunnies lately and I'm crushing on the Ray-Ban Mirrored Glasses. Don't they just look so cool? I'm dying to get to a store to try them on to see if I can pull them off!

I've heard really good things about this book and am dying to read it. It has great reviews on Amazon, so it might just have to be my next bedtime book! Does anyone else love having happy books to read right before bed? I can't handle anything remotely stressful or scary after 7 pm. Biggest wuss ever.

Have you read it? If so, let me know how you liked it!

Hope you're having a great weekend!
